Welcome to the Online Home of Covenant Christian School, London, Ontario.
Covenant Christian School first opened its doors on September 7th, 1976. This was the culmination of a number of years of preparation and hard work by members of both the London and Kerwood (formerly Watford) Canadian Reformed Churches. The Lord in his care provided the opportunity and the resources to complete the project of building the school and the doors could be opened to two teachers and 20 students. We now have students from eight different churches (Candian Reformed & United Reformed) and our students come from a very large area. (Woodstock to Wyoming)
The Lord has continued to bless our school community in the 35 years since that opening day. Many things have changed over that period of time. Originally a two classroom school it had grown into four classrooms with 50+ students, four fulltime and one part-time staff members along with numerous volunteers. In 2009 we purchased our current 15,000 sq. ft. facility where we can enjoy the increased space as well as the use of a Gymnasium. Our enrolment now stands at just over 80 students and we have eight staff members. (4 fulltime, 4 part-time).
The Lord has continued to provide for us in His way and in His time. He has shown us over and over that He is faithful. He has instilled in parents the desire to have their children instructed in the fear of the Lord. He has supplied staff, students and supporters as well as the financial resources to keep the school operational for so many years. To Him belong the praise and the Glory for what He has accomplished.
