Covenant Christian School

Covenant Christian School first opened its doors on September 7th, 1976. This was the culmination of a number of years of preparation and hard work by members of both the London and Kerwood (formerly Watford) congregations. The Lord in his care provided the opportunity and the resources to complete the project of building the school and the doors could be opened to two teachers and 20 students.

The Lord has continued to bless our school community in the 32 years since that opening day. Many things have changed over that period of time. Originally a two classroom school it has grown into four classrooms with 50+ students, four fulltime and one part-time staff members along with numerous volunteers. Things have not always gone smoothly, over the years we have been faced with membership challenges, anxious moments when faced with staffing shortages, yet the Lord has continued to provide for us in His way and in His time. He has shown us over and over that He is faithful. He has instilled in parents the desire to have their children instructed in the fear of the Lord. He has supplied staff, students and supporter as well as the financial resources to keep the school operational for so many years. To Him belong the praise and the Glory for what He has accomplished.
